In short: Avantium carries no advertising, has no third-party analytics and never sells or shares your data. Location is only read while the app is open on screen, never in the background, and you can refuse it and keep using the app.
1. Who handles your data
The data controller is Avantium AI LLC, 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, USA. Write to support@avantium.ai about anything concerning your data.
Avantium is a management app for trades businesses: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, maintenance, renovation and similar work.
2. Two kinds of data, two different roles
- Your own data as a professional using Avantium. Here we are the controller, and this policy explains what we do with it.
- Your customers' data that you enter (names, addresses, phone numbers, signatures). Here you are the controller: we process it only on your behalf and on your instructions. You decide what to keep and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to keep it.
3. What we collect from you

About location, in full
- It is read only when you ask for it, in one single place in the app: the record of an installed piece of equipment, button «Guardar mi ubicación actual». It saves where that boiler or unit is installed.
- The app never reads your position at any other time. There is no continuous tracking, no route history and no background location.
- What is stored is the location of a machine, not of a person.
- You can refuse the permission in your phone settings. The app keeps working in full; you simply cannot mark where equipment is installed.
4. What we do not do
- No advertising and no sharing with ad networks.
- No third-party analytics or tracking tools inside the app.
- We never sell or rent personal data.
- We do not combine your data with other companies' to build profiles.
- The app does not access your contacts, your microphone or your messages.
5. Lawful basis
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): your account and everything needed to provide the service.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): location, camera and photo access, granted through the operating system and withdrawable at any time.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): keeping the service secure and preventing abuse.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): retaining invoicing records for as long as the law requires.
6. Who else processes it
Only suppliers who provide us a service, under a data processing agreement, with no right to use the data for their own purposes:

We may also disclose data to authorities where the law requires it.
7. Transfers outside the EU
Avantium AI LLC is based in the United States, as are some suppliers. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
8. How long we keep it
- While your account is active, everything you need to work.
- Location of installed equipment: for as long as the equipment stays on your client record.
- Invoicing: as long as applicable tax law requires, even after you close the account.
- Everything else: deleted within 30 days of your request.
9. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to port it elsewhere. Write to support@avantium.ai from your account's email address and we will answer within 30 days at most.
If you think we have got it wrong, you may complain to your country's supervisory authority. In Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

10. Security
Everything travels over HTTPS and is stored on servers with restricted access. There are no passwords: you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, which expires. No system is infallible, but if a breach affected you we would tell you.
11. Minors
Avantium is a professional tool. It is not aimed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Cookies
This website uses no tracking or analytics cookies. The platform uses only technical cookies to keep you signed in.
13. Changes
If we change something material we will say so by email or inside the app before it takes effect. The date above shows when this was last updated.
